Veterinarians
The veterinarians working at the clinic offer their services to the population of LaSalle as well as Ville-Émard, Verdun, Ville St-Pierre, Lachine, etc… They are all members of the Ordre des Médecins Vétérinaires du Québec (www.omvq.qc.ca) and the Association des Médecins Vétérinaires du Québec en Pratique des Petits Animaux (www.amvq.qc.ca). Their major concern is your pet’s health and well being.

Dre Thérèse Fournier D.M.V.
After my graduation in 1984 from the Faculté de Médecine Vétérinaire of the Université de Montréal, I worked for 4 years in the Nicolet region. In October 1989, accompanied by Dr. Anne Benoit, we co-founded the Clinique Vétérinaire Dollard in LaSalle, a practice exclusively dedicated towards the care of dogs and cats. My love for animals stems from my youth growing up with dogs, cats, horses, cows, chickens, etc… which I loved to care for even then! Since 2014, I am almost exclusively devoted to management.

Isabelle Demontigny-Bédard, DMV, DÉS, M.Sc., DACVB
Veterinary behaviorist
After graduating in veterinary medicine (Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Montreal) in 2010 and practicing as a general practitioner for 1 year, I undertook my residency in veterinary behavior under the supervision of Dr. Diane Frank, a respected veterinary behaviorist. I graduated as a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists (ACVB) in 2015. In 2017, I also completed a master’s degree on pica behavior in cats.
On a daily basis, I strive to positively influence my work environment. As a veterinary behaviorist, I want to provide my patients with the least stressful experience possible, at all stages of their visit, with a dedicated team and in premises adapted to my practice.

Mme Susan Benoît
A little after the opening of the Clinique Vétérinaire Dollard in 1989, and after completing my studies as a medical laboratory technician and my administration degree at the HEC, I joined Dr. Benoit and Dr. Fournier. The team consisted of only three members at that time! Besides my fonctions of administrative assisant, I also proudly hold the title of Senior desk clerk amongst 10 colleagues. They say that I possess a strong sense of responsibility and realism! My work priorities are: customer service and client satisfaction, and of course, animal well being. Mother of 3 boys, my extended family includes many dogs and cats!

Mme Eugénie Fournier-Hébert B.B.A.
I started working at the clinic at the end of my studies in business and administration so I could lighten the administrative burden of the clinic owner, Dr. Fournier. You may have noticed a resemblance? She is my mother! Besides working as a family, I enjoy being able to see cats and dogs all day long … Even taking pictures of them is part of my job description! A dream job, one might say …

Techniciennes en santé animale
The technicians working at the Clinique Vétérinaire Dollard have a Diploma of College studies (DEC) in animal health. Whether it be in consultation or in surgery, their help and support are essential to the veterinarians. We could say that: “an animal health technician is to a veterinarian as a nurse is to a doctor!”. They perform the medical and surgical monitoring. They communicate and discuss with clients so that their favorite animal receives the best possible care. Furthermore, they are the ones who take X-Rays and perform different laboratory analyzes. The love and passion our technicians have for animals lead directly to the most important goal: the well-being of all little furballs!

Mme Isabelle Vézina A.H.T.
Animal Health Technician diplomate from Cegep de La Pocatière (1999)
My childhood dream became a reality in 1999 graduating from Cegep de Lapocatière as an animal health technician. In order to perfect my knowledge, I also obtained a certificate in grooming dogs and cats. I joined the Clinique Vétérinaire Dollard team in 2009. I am very passionate in my work; always motivated in offering high quality service and sharing my experience, judicious advice and counsel. I am described as the true “Mother Teresa” for all the furry creatures! I love latin dancing, zumba, travelling, and of course, animals, which I have the pleasure of working with each day.

Mme Vanessa McDermott A.H.T.
Animal Health Technician diplomate from Vanier College (2015)
Animals of all shapes and sizes have always had a special place in my heart. Ever since I was a little girl I have been surrounded by them. At a very young age I knew I wanted a career that involved caring for them because I wanted to give them back some of the love that they have always provided me. I joined the Clinique Vétérinaire Dollard team in November, 2014. I am happy to say that I pursued my childhood dream and I cannot wait to care for your fur-baby as if it was my own.

Mme Aymin Mayorga A.H.T.
Animal Health Technician diplomate from Vanier College (2011)
In 2011, I completed my studies as an animal health technician at Vanier College. For as long as I can remember, I always had a love for animals and it was natural for me to study in this field. It was during my studies in animal health that I discovered new interests that are pathology and public health. It’s been over 6 years since I started working with the Clinique Vétérinaire Dollard team. It is with this great team that I have improved my knowledge in the field of animal health. I am presently studying at the university and working part-time at the clinic.
